It all started with my mom. She’s 62, hardworking, and tech-savvy in many ways—but when she struggled to write reports for work, I asked, “Why not use an AI tool?” Her response? She didn’t know how and felt intimidated.
So, I sat with her, walked her through it, and in just a couple of hours, she was using AI confidently. That’s when it hit me—how many others feel left behind?
I thought back to my dad, 12 years older than my mom. When smartphones became mainstream, he never quite caught up. To this day, he types in all caps and clicks on every link he sees—a true cybersecurity nightmare. I saw firsthand what happens when technology moves forward and people don’t have the right support.
